On the Road with the Walkers 🚗 April 4, 2026

We got started early this morning at the Shoals Republican Club breakfast held at the Helen Keller Library in Tuscumbia, Alabama. The event was well attended, with approximately 50 to 60 people.

There were four speakers, each allowed to speak for approximately 15 minutes. The message was very well received, and there was also an opportunity to ask questions during and after the meeting. This was a very informed crowd that cares about their community. I would like to thank each of you for allowing us to be a part of your meeting.

Afterwards, we drove around Lauderdale County, knocking on doors, seeing old friends, and asking for their vote. Lots of my friends grabbed signs to put up in their yards and strategic locations. I sure did enjoy seeing everyone. We made it all the way down to Waterloo before heading the opposite direction.

To round off the evening, Stacie and I visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Seth Burton. Even though Seth is running against me in this race, there is no reason we still can’t be friends and spend time breaking bread together. We really enjoyed dinner and conversation at their home. Thank you so much for having us.

And tomorrow is Easter Sunday, and I just want to remind everyone that HE IS RISEN!!! Happy Easter!!!
