Foreign Countries Buying our Farmland

Currently foreign countries own 45.85 million acres of American Farmland with that number growing more each day. Currently federal law does not impose any restrictions on the amount of private US Agricultural land that can be owned by foreigner, including terrorist nations  like China and Iran, however American citizens are restricted from owning land in foreign countries like China. China currently owns over 12.5 million acres of American farmland. On March 14, 2025, Congressman Brandon Gill (TX-26) introduced the Land and National Defense Act, which would ban China and Iran from buying American Farmland. As your Senator, I would fight hard to see this bill pass and others like it. We must protect our Farmland and our Food Supply from Foreign Nations!!
