On the Road with the Walkers 🚗 February 26, 2026

As the trail continues, we left the AFRW event in Montgomery and traveled across the state to Livingston, Alabama, where we spoke on the campus of the University of West Alabama to the Sumter County Republican Party.

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch and had the opportunity to tour part of the campus. It is a safe, clean facility and a great small town in rural Alabama. We were the only statewide candidate to attend the meeting and were warmly received. We were also given about 30 minutes to speak to the group, and I sincerely appreciate the invitation and hospitality.

Later, we traveled to Jasper, Alabama, to speak at the Walker County Republican Party meeting. They hosted a great barbecue dinner, and the event was well attended by folks from all across Walker County. Did you know the first U.S. Senator from Alabama was named John Walker and came from Walker County? Just a little bit of history.
